Luxury toilet trailers do require electricity to operate lighting, heating and water pumps.

  • No mains power: Generator hire can be arranged

The trailer must be positioned on firm, level ground with suitable vehicle access for delivery. If access is restricted or ground conditions are unclear, we’ll talk this through in advance.

Luxury trailers are priced higher than standard portable toilets due to the additional features, power requirements, and larger size. We recommend booking as early as you can, especially if your event falls during wedding season between May and September. Luxury trailers are less available than standard units because we have fewer of them in the fleet. Booking several months ahead for weddings or large events gives you the best chance of securing a trailer for your date. Last-minute availability depends on what’s already committed at the time you enquire, and there’s no guarantee during busy periods.

Most trailers can comfortably serve between 50 and 150 guests depending on event duration and whether it’s the only facility available. A typical trailer with three ladies’ cubicles, one gents’ cubicle, and two urinals will handle a wedding reception of around 100 guests for a four to five hour event. For larger guest numbers or longer events, you might need multiple trailers or a combination of luxury and standard units. We can talk through what makes sense based on your guest count and event length when you enquire.

They need firm, level ground to sit on, clear vehicle access for towing in and out, and a 240v mains power supply or generator. The trailers are around 22 feet long and 11 feet wide, so you’ll need adequate space for positioning and manoeuvring during delivery. If mains power isn’t available, we can arrange generator hire, but this adds to the cost and requires space for the generator and fuel. Setup takes longer than standard portable toilets due to levelling requirements and power connection.

Yes, the trailers have interior heating which makes them comfortable even in cold weather. This is one advantage over standard portable toilets, which can be uncomfortable during winter events. The heating runs off the same power supply as the lights and water pumps, so as long as power is available, the trailer stays warm inside. For outdoor winter events, having heated facilities makes a noticeable difference to guest comfort.

If mains power isn’t available, we can arrange generator hire. The generator needs to run throughout your event to power the water pumps, lighting, heating, and hand dryers. You’ll need space to position the generator at a reasonable distance from guest areas due to noise, and it requires fuel for the duration of your event. Generator hire adds to the overall cost, so it’s worth checking whether mains power is available at your venue before committing to a luxury trailer.

Yes, but the grass needs to be firm and level. Soft ground, waterlogged areas, or freshly laid turf can cause problems with stability and may get damaged by the trailer’s weight. If your event is on a lawn or field, ground conditions are worth checking, especially if delivery is happening after wet weather or during winter months when ground is typically softer. For garden weddings on established lawns during dry weather, positioning on grass usually works fine.
